A technology graduate from IIT Delhi with ambitions of making a bollywood movie & joining politics, Jitender Dabas is the Chief Strategy Officer of McCANN World Group in India.
He has more than 22 years of experience in partnering some of the biggest global as well as Indian brands across many agencies like JWT, Grey & FCB apart from McCANN.
In 2016 he was awarded the South Asia Strategic Planner of the year by the Campaign Asia Magazine and was also named as among the 50 most influential people in Advertising & Media Industry in India by the Economic Times Brand Equity. He is the member of the Global Strategic Council at McCann World Group.
He has also been a recipient of WPP’s prestigious Atticus award for Original thinking in Marketing & Advertising
His deep understanding of Indian consumer & culture has been behind some of the very iconic & successful campaigns for Brands like Coca-Cola, Nestle, Dettol, Britannia, Pepsi, Hero, PayTM etc.
He has also led some successful social good asa well as behaviour change campaigns for the government and as well as national election campaigns for leading political parties.
His work has numerous Indian as well as international advertising awards and he has also been a Jury at national & regional advertising awards.
