Connie Summers is a Sr. Global Diversity & Inclusion Manager in the Global Diversity & Inclusion organization at The Boeing Company. As such, Connie leads an international team of Global Diversity & Inclusion Leaders that provide strategic guidance, tools, resources and research to senior leadership teams, Business Resource Groups and other diversity networks to enable an inclusive and collaborative environment in the workplace. Connie is a founding member of the Enterprise Senior Executive Mentoring Program Steering team and sponsors the development of mentorship training with an emphasis in building cross-cultural relationships within a global context. She has been recognized as a subject matter expert in various aspects of diversity and inclusion over her 20+ year career, including Transgender Transitions in the workplace, for which she received the Workplace Innovation Award from the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, DC. And most notably, Connie received Special Recognition from the Women of Color in Technology for developing a Diversity and Inclusion Maturity Model. Ms. Summers is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University.
